Cluster Board

The Power & Environment Cluster Board was set up in May 2009 to coordinate the various activities within the cluster. In addition, it fosters networking between large corporations, SMEs and research centres and hence provides a framework for the initiation of projects expected to benefit the region and the local private sector. The group of experts provides recommendations for the Power & Environment Cluster on both economic policy and strategy.
Alongside the Deputy Mayor of Economic Development and Employment acting on behalf of the City of Leipzig, all the other members of the Cluster Board are acknowledged experts representing their respective businesses and institutions in the cluster. The Cluster Board normally meets two or three times a year.
